LABash 2012 is just around the corner! It's happening March 15 to 17th, 2012 in Miami, Florida this year, hosted by Florida International University.
I will be there and plan to bring back some great footage of the event. For those of you who don't know, LABash is an annual student conference in North America. It is hosted planned, organized and run entirely by student volunteers, and has been happening since 1970. Each year it is hosted by a different school. LABash has always been the inspirational highlight of the year for me for as long as I've been going. It's a powerful mix of some of the best academics and practioners in landscape architecture, combined with the enthusiasm and raw creativity of some of the most passionate students in the field. It also features some awesome dinners, tourism, and parties, and if you're travelling with others, it's an excellent road trip there and back again. It's an experience.
